Reunion Details

Events have been scheduled to provide plenty of time to meet up and share life updates with classmates. Dates and times for the tours will be confirmed once we hear what your interests are.

Included with your registration will be: The Main Event (cash bar), the Informal Event (cash bar), School Tour and Class Photo. Also a printed Directory with Class and Reunion photos will be mailed to you following the Reunion. Registration cost is $100 for a class graduate and $85 for a guest.

Schedule

  • Weds, Sept 9th

    9am-Noon - Pick up your registration packet at the Hyatt Place hotel, 5020 Main Street, Williamsville. A Welcome desk will be in the lobby.

    9AM - Golf Outing - Tee it up at Dande Farm Golf Course, 13278 Carney Rd Akron NY. This is an optional event, planned by Charlie Benz and Ken Adams. Cost: $47 including cart. Restaurant on site for food before/after. Non-golfers are invited to ride along ($10) or join for lunch. Indicate your interest with your registration form. Email Ken Adams at aapilot2003@gmail.com for any details.

    12:30PM - Join Classmates on a Buffalo River History Tour. Enjoy a 90-minute narrated cruise along Buffalo’s waterfront aboard a double-deck tour boat, lower portion is enclosed, and learn about the rich history of the Queen City. Cost: $34/pp. Tickets will be purchased as a group.

    6-10PM - The Main Event, Giancarlo’s, 5110 Main St, Williamsville. There will be food, cash bar, slide show, music, 1966 Trivia contest and much more. An evening to reconnect with your classmates - share stories and find common ground.

  • Thurs, Sept 10th

    9-Noon - Pick up your registration packet at the Welcome Desk at the Hyatt Place hotel, 5020 Main St., Williamsville, NY

    Optional Tours - Please indicate when completing your registration what tours you have interest in. There will be an additional cost for most tours.

    10AM - A 60 minute docent-led visit to the newly reimagined AKG Art Museum, formerly Albright-Knox Art Gallery, 1285 Elmwood Avenue. Closed for almost 2 years for a $200 million renovation. Cost: $24/pp for the tour. Tickets will be purchased as a group. Stay after for lunch at the AKG restaurant.

    1:30PM - Visit the beautifully restored Martin House, designed by Frank Lloyd Wright, located at 125 Jewett Parkway. https://martinhouse.org/This 75 minute tour includes the first floor of the residence and offers insights to the design. Cost: $25/pp. Tickets will be purchased as a group. This tour is limited to 18 people.

    4PM - Tour our high school guided by current students. We will have a class photo taken in front of the school. No Cost

    5:30PM - After the high school tour, move to The Mosey Hotel, 5195, Main Street for a private gathering on the first floor. Lots of conversational seating and bar offers a place to continue conversations. Light food and a cash bar will be available.

  • Fri, Sept 11th

    9AM - Let’s Walk the Village and meet up for coffee or breakfast. You don’t have to walk the village; you can drive to a meet up location. The Village has a number of coffee spots from Starbucks to locally owned Spot and DiCamillos.

    A map of local recommended places will be in your Welcome Packet. Go on your own at your leisure, make plans with friends or join a group meet-up. Details will be in your Welcome packet on how to sign up.

We have made arrangements to have discounted rates at nearby hotels. Call directly to the hotel and mention it’s for the ‘66 WCHS Reunion.
